Overview

Per the BRA, 171 Tremont Street will be 13-story, 175-foot luxury condominium building in Downtown Crossing.  The building will have 12 residential condo units, each one taking up an entire floor.  The building will also feature a street-level lobby.  In addition, the project will have an enclosed mechanical penthouse on the rooftop.  171 Tremont Street will be made of high-quality metals as well as glass and limestone.  Parking will not be available on-site, except for two short parking spaces.

The developer also has plans to build an urban pocket park, which will provide an improved pedestrian pathway from Tremont Street to Mason and Avery Streets.  Meanwhile, “The top of the building is designed to provide visual interest while creating a light and airy roof terrace.”
