Currently in the pre-construction phase, 301-303 Border Street will be a mixed-use residential development on the East Boston Waterfront with 64 residential condominiums, plus retail space and an art gallery located in the building’s lobby.  Per the BRA, the proposed building will be six stories tall and contain studio to three-bedroom residences.  The development will total 75,167 square feet.  An increasingly popular neighborhood, the East Boston Waterfront has seen a surge in residential development recently and is regarded as the next “IT” neighborhood.

Amenities to Include a Common Roof Deck, Fitness Center and Interior Parking

Amenities will include a common roof deck, a fitness center and interior parking with 42 spaces.  Approximately half of the condos will come with their own private roof decks.  In addition, there will be bicycle racks as well as a separate bike room with additional storage, and an electric car charging station.

The developer is also proposing a yoga studio and juice bar for the ground-floor commercial space.

The project site is ideally situated within walking distance to the MBTA Airport and Maverick Square stations.  The project site is also within walking distance to both Central and Maverick Squares, areas which have many restaurants and amenities for residents.

Construction Timeline

Construction is slated to begin Spring of 2017, with an anticipated completion date of Fall 2018.
