Located in Dorchester — at the meeting point of Jones Hill, Meeting House Hill — Dot Block will be one of the largest developments in Boston and the biggest development in Dorchester. Dot Block will feature multiple residential buildings and retail space. Per the BRA, the development will house 362 residential units, which will be a mix of condominiums and apartments, and 37,000 square feet of retail space. The development will include eight four-story residential buildings, each with eight units, as well as a five-story building with 50 residential units. In addition, there will be several buildings, ranging between five and six stories, that will contain residential and retail space. Units offering ownership opportunities will average approximately 1,140 square feet, while apartment rentals will span approximately 950 square feet.
Amenities to Include Parking, Restaurants and Retail Space
There will be a parking garage with 450 spaces as well as 22 extra spots in a nearby covered lot. Dot Block will foster a pedestrian-friendly environment through the addition of a broad pedestrian walkway and new cafes, restaurants and retail shops.

The Dot Block development is centrally located, within walking distance of public transportation, including the MBTA Savin Hill T station on the Red Line. The dining and entertainment options in the immediate area will provide residents with further convenience and amenities. Dot Block may also include a grocery store.
