Per the BRA, the Indigo Block Redevelopment in Dorchester will be a mixed-use development consisting of 92 residential units. 80 of these units will be rental apartments. Rental apartments will total 85,000 square feet. There will also be 9 market rate homeownership units. For-sale units will span 18,000 square feet. In addition to residential space, the development will have a 20,000 square foot commercial building with a 3,400 square foot mezzanine.
Amenities to Include a Fitness Center, Parking, Bike Storage and Zipcar Access
The residential apartments will feature a variety of amenities. Parking will be located in a surface lot right next to the building. Among the other amenities proposed for the apartment building are a fitness center and an innovation workroom that will have WiFi and work stations for residents’ use. Zipcar access and bike storage will also be available to residents.
