Overview

Midwood is a proposed 683-foot mixed-use tower at One Bromfield Street in Downtown Crossing.  The current proposal by New York-based Midwood Management Corp. and Adrian + Gordon Gill Architecture calls for a 59-story residential building with 300 rental units, 119 condominiums and 30,000 square feet of ground-floor retail space.  The building would also include 235 parking spaces and 420 bike parking spaces.

Midwood Management initially proposed a smaller version of the Bromfield Street tower in 2008, which called for a 28-story residential building at Washington and Bromfield streets, totaling 407,000 square feet.

The One Bromfield tower currently being proposed would be taller than the nearly completed Millennium Tower, which is located diagonally from the One Bromfield project site.
