Overview

National Development announced in May of 2015 that it will be building a 79 unit condominium building called Siena at the Ink Block site in the South End, formally the Boston Herald building.  The Ink Block Development includes several new construction apartment buildings, the Sepia condominiums and now the Siena condominiums.  The Ink Block Development is mixed-use and also includes a new Whole Foods along with several new retail and restaurant spaces.

According to the Boston Globe and National Development, the Siena at Ink Block condominiums will include 79 condominiums.  One unique feature will be Maisonette condominiums on the ground level of the condominium as opposed to having retail.  The Maisonette condominiums will have direct access to and from the condo without having to go through the main lobby.  These Maisonette condominiums will range in size from 600sf – 1,200sf.  The additional condo inventory at Siena will be priced from between $600,000 and $2,000,000.
