Overview

Per the BRA, the South Station Tower complex will include three buildings, one of which will have 51 stories.  The complex’s tallest part will be a 43-story addition to South Station, which will consist of 175 condos located on the upper floors.  Plans call for the tower to have a total height of 677 feet.  The ninth floor will feature a sky lobby, according to the developers.

The other two parts of the project will be a 17-story, 438,000-square-foot building that would house a hotel or a residential building, with 260 condos or 375 apartments (or a mix of both).  The building composition will partly be dictated by market conditions closer to the time of the project’s completion.  In addition, the building will contain retail space.  The other building will have nine stories and total approximately 511,000 square feet; it will include offices and retail space exclusively.
